Andrew is a South African national who studied law in the UK and qualified as an English solicitor into the Insolvency department in 2011 after joining FWJ in 2009.
Andrew recently joined the Insolvency Litigation department and assists in relation to all aspects of contentious insolvency. In particular defending injunction applications, actions against directors for misfeasance, actions for the recovery of property (transactions at an undervalue, preferences and transactions defrauding creditors), actions for the recovery of the officeholders’ costs, as well as responding to creditor challenges to the level of the officeholders’ remuneration, making and defending bankruptcy annulment applications.
