Stuart is an insolvency litigation specialist known for his work in both personal and corporate insolvencies. He was previously at a well-known national law firm and has dealt with a number of high-profile matters, including football clubs, online retailers and high street retailers.
Stuart heads the Insolvency Litigation team at FWJ.
Stuart regularly advises insolvency practitioners, financiers and other creditors in relation to all aspects of insolvency litigation, including but not limited to: antecedent transactions; asset recovery and realization; bankruptcy petitions and annulments; cross-border issues; examinations of bankrupts, directors and other individuals; income payment agreements and orders; misfeasance claims; retention of title issues; remuneration challenges; transactions defrauding creditors; winding-up petitions; and wrongful trading.
