Receiverships are a speedy and highly effective form of recovery, where secured creditors are able to enforce their security by appointing Insolvency Practitioners of their own choice to look after their secured interests.

Whilst the Enterprise Act 2002 has restricted the circumstances in which an administrative receiver may be appointed, we regularly advise our financier clients on the restrictions now faced, and their ability to appoint receivers under their existing security. We also have vast experience in advising insolvency practitioners in all aspects of receiverships.
