Sally is a senior associate with FWJ and has over 20 years City experience in finance law, including asset finance and secured lending, property and banking, and has specialised for the last 10 years in insolvency and asset based lending.
Sally heads the Commercial Finance team at FWJ and is the legal representative on the expert panel of Asset based lending for ACQ magazine, a leading M&A publication.
Sally is experienced in the drafting of, and advising financiers on, standard ABL documentation and related security and can assist with the take on of a new prospect as well as advise on the various issues that can crop up in the day to day management of on-going facilities. She can also handle all aspects of loan documentation for lending to both start-up and established companies. She has a particular specialism in advising creditors in relation to secured lending, and also in relation to enforcing such loans.
Sally has considerable experience writing and presenting on the legal issues affecting ABL’s to lawyers, insolvency practitioners and financiers. She regularly writes on finance topics for the business press, finance industry and legal journals. Sally is FWJ’s training manager and runs internal and client legal training seminars. Sally has also contributed to ABFA's members' online library and assisted the authors of two texts that were due for publication in 2010 for the ABFA Diploma Course.

Sally was educated at the British School of Brussels and has an MA in Business Law. She is a volunteer gardener for English Heritage at Down House (the home of Charles Darwin) and is currently learning Italian.
