Why the client needed our help
We were approached by a director and his hotel chain group of companies to defend a freezing injunction obtained by Russian investors over the group and a yacht in the Mediterranean.
How we helped
Acting responsively in dealing with amendments to the terms of the freezing injunction, permitting access to legal advice through the companies’ funds, and representing the companies in the proceedings we negotiated to bring the freezing injunction to an end.
The outcome
We were able to negotiate a commercial arrangement by way of settlement of some of the underlying dispute, enabling our client to get on with business.
