Why the client needed our help
Our client, a law firm, needed our help recovering unpaid legal fees from one of its clients. The defendent was arguing that the solicitor working on their case had failed to provide adequate services and that this had resulted in the loss of the claim.
How we helped
We issued a claim against the defendent which they then defended with a counterclaim. This proceeded to a hearing.
The outcome
At the hearing, we obtained judgment for the full amount claimed along with interest. The counterclaim was dismissed and costs in the full amount claimed were also awarded.
