How we helped
Following the debtor’s refusal to respond to a letter before action, we drafted without delay a winding up petition which was subsequently issued at court and served on the debtor company by our process server.
The outcome
Within a few days, full payment was received from the debtor. We also obtained a £1,400 contribution towards legal costs.
Once the debt and costs were paid in full, the winding up petition was dismissed from court, our client’s money was safeguarded and the danger of a supporting creditor was avoided.
