Why the client needed our help
Our client, a management company, needed help recovering monies owed in relation to a deed of covenant. Under the covenant, the joint debtors were required to pay contributions for the property but had failed to do so since April 2017.
How we helped
We issued a 30-day letter of claim against the debtors which included the debt, interest pursuant to the deed and legal costs incurred by our client to date. The letter was concise but contained all of the information necessary for preventing the debtors from disputing the claim.
The outcome
Payment was received in full, inclusive of interest and legal costs. Our client was delighted.
