Amanda Rodriguez specialises in director disqualification and compensation claims, helping company directors respond to investigations and legal action brought by the Insolvency Service. Before joining Francis Wilks & Jones, Amanda worked within the Senior Paralegal team at the Insolvency Service, where she was involved in reviewing cases and making recommendations for matters to proceed. This experience gave her valuable insight into how investigations are assessed and how enforcement decisions are made.

Amanda advises directors at all stages of director disqualification proceedings, including responses to Director Questionnaires, Notices of Intention to Recommend Disqualification and section 16 letters before action. She also assists directors once proceedings have been issued and can support matters through to trial where necessary. In addition, Amanda advises on section 17 applications for permission to continue acting as a director despite a disqualification order or undertaking.

Clients value Amanda’s organised and proactive approach, as well as her ability to remain calm under pressure. She is known for providing practical and realistic advice, explaining complex issues in straightforward terms and managing expectations clearly throughout the process. Amanda is approachable, easy to work with and focused on finding commercially sensible solutions tailored to each client’s circumstances.

Her objective is always to help clients protect their position and move matters forward as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.
