I have experience as a Legal Account Manager managing a large varied, caseload of bulk debt recovery matters on behalf of debt purchase companies and utilities companies in a firm ranked Tier 1 in the legal 500 for Debt Recovery. As a Debt Recovery Assistant in a large parking company, I managed the end-to-end debt recovery process for the recovery of PCNs, serving as the primary liaison to panel solicitors and external debt recovery agencies and High Court Enforcement Agencies. I also have experience leading the recovery of overdue invoices referred for legal action at two City and International law firms. I took a commercial approach to debt recovery to boost cash collection and resolve complaints.

Some examples of successful cases i have handled include:

  • Successfully resolving a longstanding complaint which led to the recovery of invoices for legal fees totalling £80,000 plus costs.
  • Recovered invoices totalling £250,000 without the need to issue proceedings by sending a detailed letter of claim which addressed complaints by highlighting the strength of the firm’s case for its fees to the debtor’s solicitors and recovered the full invoice balance.
