1. What is a business mortgage?
A business mortgage is security taken in relation to a commercial loan or commercial property lending. Often, when providing finance to a business, a bank, invoice finance provider or other lender will require a mortgage of commercial property as security for the loan.
2. Commercial Mortgage
Commercial Mortgages can be useful for businesses looking for funding to purchase premises, or which own a premises and are looking to use that as collateral for a cash injection. As finance secured against property gives good collateral they are a less risky proposition for a lender and as such, can be a more affordable form of commercial finance for a business than unsecured lending.
