Valid proof of service is vital
In order to successfully proceed with the statutory demand process and any follow up steps, valid proof of service is going to be vital. The way this is done is as follows
- for individual statutory demands, a certificate of service should be used in accordance with Form 6.11.
- for company statutory demands the certificate of personal service of statutory demand should be set out pursuant to Form 6.12.
For either document, it should be signed with a statement of truth on it.
