Why the client needed our help
Having first tried, unsucessfully, to recover some unpaid solicitors fees’ themselves, our law firm client came to us for help.
How we helped
Initially, we sent a letter before action requesting payment. When payment was not recieved, we issued court proceedings. We then made a Part 36 offer on behalf of our client.
The outcome
The trial was a success with our client being awarded the full amount claimed along with all interest. In addition, we beat the Part 36 offer which meant that they were entitled to an extra 10% on damages. A great result.
