Why the client needed our help
We were instructed by a company who specialise in High Court Enforcement and other enforcement matters acting as on behalf of a company based outside of England and Wales. The end client was seeking to enforce a European judgment against a debtor based in England.
How we helped
We were able to advise on the correct process to be used for the enforcement of the foreign judgment in England. We assisted with the preparation of the required paperwork for the registration and enforcement of the judgment.
The outcome
Through our guidance, the application for registration of the judgment was approved swiftly. The writ of control was then issued by the Court allowing the client to proceed with enforcement against the English debtor, and recovery of the monies owed.

We recovered all the outstanding invoices and the legal costs, this essentially put us at net-zero in terms of costs which was great.
